Another update today included some pieces I have completed recently using scales. Candle Skirt in Sunflower Position Candle Skirt in Lotus Position First, the Lotus Candle Skirt made with aluminum scales and stainless steel rings. It was made to fit a tealight candle, but can be altered to fit almost anything round. It fits in the closed position, called "lotus position" or the open position, called "sunflower position". It is a great decoration! I have also made these adorable scale flowers. I made one in each color and also a multi-colored one with some leftover scales and rings.  I added a ring to one and wear it as a pendant, but can also attach a pin backing or hairclip. I am so sorry I keep forgetting to update you all on my new pieces! I have a few things that I made for this past Christmas and suddenly realized I never shared them! Most of them are new colors on things you have seen before, but there are a couple of new ones: Inspiral Set in Anodized Aluminum  First, a couple of Christmas themed Inspiral bracelets with earrings to match either pair. Next, a variation of the Helm Weave bracelet with beads and colored rings to add a bit of festivity to your wrist. I am so sorry I have forgotten to update you all for so long! I got caught up in the holidays and a few projects.  There will be a big announcement coming soon!!! Until then, here are some of the things I have been working on! Solar Flare Pendant in Bright and Anodized Aluminum First the Solar Flare Pendant courtesy of HyperLynks.  This one is done in squared wire rings instead of the traditional round wire which gives it a totally different, unique look. It would look amazing in any color combination but is pictured in black, silver, and pink. Flight of the Bumblebee Bracelet in Bright and Anodized Aluminum Next, in blue and silver is a bracelet called Flight of the Bumblebee. It is a variation of Byzantine, connected differently and in varying sizes to give it a sort-of wave effect. The next piece is the Rainbow Fleur Pendant.  It is made with rainbow hematite that gives it absolutely stunning colors. Pictures cannot do this pendant proper justice.

Pixie Snowflake The first of the new captures is called Pixie Snowflake.  It features a Swarovski Crystal Rivoli in Sapphire.  It is a gorgeous design from Dawdling Dragons.  This one is the pendant size, but it can also be made in earring size.   The second is called Crystal Cascade. This one, in particular, is made with rainbow hematite beads and a Swarovski Crystal Rivoli in the color called Vitrail Medium.  It is a stunning piece and, while a little big for any pendant I personally would wear, it is an amazing statement piece or even an ornament if you choose. Crystal Cascade Pendant The next is a collection of captures done in aluminum and rubber and connected with Byzantine units to support the weight and give the piece some stability.  It is the Galaxy Necklace and features Swarovski Crystal Rivolis in Emerald. I haven't been too great at remembering to update the blog, but I do have another collection of new pretties to share! First off, a tiny fidget toy!!! It's super cute and actually fits inside the bigger one! :D  Fidgets!  Second, a lovely pendant in aluminum, rubber, and rainbow hematite.  It's called the Compass Pendant.
